Paul has been a member of the accounting profession since 1976.  He has a wide range of experience without pretending to be a specialist in any particular area.  His specialty is solving various problems faced by businesses in a practical and commonsense manner. 

His interests outside the accounting profession have given him a wide ranging viewpoint, which enables him to understand and assist clients in relation to their business affairs generally.

These activities include the following:
Share investor, property investor, land developer, various church activity participant, cyclist, and a struggling participant in golf.  He also has the role of husband to Carmel and father to three children.

Leonie Rabbetts
Bookkeeper

Leonie has around 15 years bookkeeping experience covering all kinds of business types such as: retail, not for profit organisations, legal trust accounts, real estate agencies, property developers, manufacturers, contract cleaning, franchisee accounts, automotive and building industries.  With all this experience under her belt, we are pleased to say that she is finally undertaking study to gain qualification as an accountant.

Prior to joining this practice, Leonie had her own small bookkeeping business where she not only was involved in keeping her client's accounts in order, she was also called upon in several instances to help maintain computers and setup network environments and install software.  She knows MYOB inside and out which has proved to be invaluable to a number of our clients who need assistance with difficult transactions and learning this sytem for the first time.

Carmel Balbuziente

As a seasoned personal assistant, Carmel brings much value to the office of Balbuziente Chartered Accountants.  Her professional background has been founded in national publication houses producing titles such as TV Week and New Idea.

She is an avid handy, crafty and culinary woman and is famous for making clients and fellow staff a MEAN Cappuccino!
